Really MOM ?!?

Bryson got to meet Santa.....

He really wasn't to excited. Mom & Bryson went to Walmart because Bryson was out of diaper wipes and well as we were walking through the store there was a sad lonley Santa who needed a friend and Being that we were rushing to get in and out of walmart, we weren't really prepared for pictures....Santa called to Bryson and they said we would get a free 5 x 7 picture. Santa was lonely and there wasn't very many children early in the morning at Walmart. So I let him see Santa and as you can see in the picture he has the look of REALLY MOM?!? Really? But if you go to Walmart on Saturday or Sunday...be prepared you may just run into Santa Clause.....

HO HO HO .....Merry Christmas.......and may all your children smile when they see him and not cry and be scared of him.....on second thought he is a strange man dressed in a strange suit promising presents to good girls and boys.....if you think of it this way......I would probley pee my pants if I had to sit on his lap! So when you see the little kids crying and their parents forcing them to sit on Santa's lap just remember....we have been telling kids for years to avoid people like this and now we make them go to them........What kind of mixed signals are we sending?!? I don't know what I am gonna do as Bryson gets older......Scary Thought!!!!

Something to be THANKFUL for....

I know it's a little late for Thanksgiving rambling...but I got a little behind. So Happy Thanksgiving, we want all our friends and family know how THANKFUL we are for each and every one of you. Our families have really came through for us this year. You have all helped us financially, emotionally, and physically. You have done what families do best, you've been there for us through the joyous times and the difficult times and we want to let you know how thankful we are. And one special thing that we will always be thankful for is our little Bryson, he has turned us into young kids and tired adults at the same time. He makes us run in the room to see him start to crawl or stand and he makes us drop down in our bed totally exhausted....what a miracle kids are. Thanks to everyone for your love and friendship and just being the wonderful people we love so much. We are truly blessed.

What's New?

What's New? Not much here. I can't believe that it is December.....Here comes Christmas. I had a lot of fun at the Burrahm Family Wreath Party. Every one's Wreath's turned out so cute. I am so excited for the Ornament Party this Saturday. Hopefully our car is working, we have been having car problems...and you know how car problems go....One thing leads to another then another....it's Awful!!!! I just have to believe that things will get better, I have faith in that. Bryson is growing like a weed.....and Scott & I are doing okay, struggling with the season, it seems so sad that you loose some of the season's spirit when you are financially struggling. But we keep a positive outlook. So nothing much to report. We will update you as soon as something happens or when we are bored and nothings happened. What ever comes first!!!

Bryson's Sick :(

Poor Bryson, we took him to the doctor on Monday, and he has an ear infection. He has lost weight and was so sick last week. He wasn't eating well or doing very good last week, but he seems to be doing better now. Other then that there is nothing new here. Sick babies aren't much fun!

On the move....& never slowin down.

Well Bryson's always moving...never slowing down. So far he is crawling and Rollin just as fast as he can. He tries to stand and he does OK but he still needs a little more work. He has been a little sick lately, hopefully it won't last that long and he will be better soon. Nothing new has really been happening at the Burrahm home. Scott is still working hard and I am still looking for work. I have to admit I love being home with Bryson, but we would be a lot better off with the extra income. But we are all doing okay and miss everyone so much. I can't wait to get together for the holidays!!! And they are coming FAST~

It's Halloween Time...Well It was and here's the results!

Happy Halloween!!!

Here are a few pictures of our Halloween Adventures. We have Bryson by our Halloween Pumpkins, Bryson's in the picture...it is a little dark but he is there! We were home on Friday watching Halloween movies and carving pumpkins. Then on Halloween, we went to the Grandparents houses and some close friends and other family that we could make it to. There is a picture of Bryson just laying on the floor in his skunk costume and he was so frustrated that he could roll or crawl as easy as he normally does, so he would get stuck rolling and crawling and he didn't like it. So he was just laying there, I call this pictures his second costume.....RoadKill...ha ha ha because that is exactly what he looked like. Then we have Bryson's first Halloween Haul....he got tons of candy for just going to a few homes.....Daddy was happy with the haul, I guess you could say we had a lot of fun, usually most people run from skunks, so I guess we were pretty lucky!

A Swinging Time....

Anyone have any good ideas to wing a baby off the Swing? Our little Bryson loves to swing. He will sit and stare around the room, quiet and content in his swing. He loves to fall asleep in his swing, or just play almost as if he were an airplane, and put his arms out and hang over the side as if he were flying. So here's the trouble....

Anyone who has spent time with Bryson knows that he is...husky....Sturdy....chunky and yes it is rather cute. But the problem is, the swing cries and creaks because of the weight of our little man. I don't think the swing can take much more. I've looked high and low and no one makes a "husky boy swing"...I could be rich if I invented the husky boy swing......for the larger infant. Anyways....any Ideas? I haven't the heart to get rid of it yet...he loves it so much and truth be told...mom and dad love it sometimes too.....but I don't want it to collapse under the weight.... What's a mom to do?

Bryson's Got Mail.....for the first time!

On Tuesday, October 20th 2009 Bryson turned 9 months old and he got his first letter in the mail. He received a cute little kitty cat card from Grandma Kraus that read " Happy Halloween to the sweetest punkin of all!" and the little black cat was sitting by a pumpkin. The card was really cute and it was textured with yellow glittery stars and he loves it. We let him hold the card and play with it. He loved running his fingers over the glitter and it almost looked like he was trying to pet the kitty. It was such a fun little Halloween treat and Bryson loved it.

We're so COOL!!

We are just So Cool...here is what is going on with the Burrahm Family.

Bryson is working on his teeth and is a little congested, but still in good spirits. He is rolling around and babbling like no other. Scott is working hard and taking good care of Mommy and Bryson, because we are both sick! After getting the flu shot I got sick and then Bryson was sick too. We are trying to get our house cleaned up and de~cluttering all we don't use anymore. I am still looking for a job, I have applied at several different sites on line, but if you have any good tips, Pass them on! I sure could use them. We hope everyone liked the Halloween cards, and hope everyone has a safe and FUN Halloween. Because Bryson is so small we are only going Trick or Treating to maybe like the malls and the family and Friend homes we can make it to. So we hope to see you.

Bryson's Tooth

Here it is Bryson's Tooth can you see it.....more importantly can you see the one coming in next to it...that's right he now has 2 teethes......he is bitting on his spoon and making it more and more difficult to feed him. I find this age to be the most challenging and FUN yet. I can't change him because he rolls around all over the floor and tries to roll away...then I can't feed him because he bites the spoon and won't let go....then he loves to hear himself scream and ramble...aaahhhh the joys of being a parent....sleepless nights....crazy days and last but not least a little lovebug to snuggle with at the end of the day!!! Now I know why so many people think sleeping babies are so cute.....because that is the only time YOU have control.....I love being a MOM.....

Oh my!!! My baby is getting so BIG!!

Tonight Scott and I were feeding our little boy, when we realized he is not so little anymore. Sure he is a pretty sturdy boy, But tonight as Scott was helping feed Bryson some green beans, Bryson reached for Daddy's water. Normally we have baby cups that are plastic that Bryson drinks out of. Well as daddy was given Bryson water from daddy's water glass we hear this tink....tink.....tink.....so Scott thought his ring was hitting against the glass and moved it to another position. Without fail we hear the tink...tink...tink....NO NO the glass is not haunted our little Bryson has his first tooth :) It is on the bottom row and will tink as he tries to sip from daddy's glass cup. I guess we didn't notice because he is still so mellow and hasn't been fussy and normally drinks from plastic baby cups....he is growing up to fast.... :( Our little baby is now our little boy! I am so sad and happy at the same time.

Bryson was Blessed on Sept.27th

On Sunday, September 27th 2009 Bryson was Blessed by Grandpa Burrahm. We just wanted to thank everyone who came to the blessing for all their love and support. We had a wonderful time with all our family and friends. I have posted some pictures of the event on Bryson's flickr page. These are some pictures of Bryson in his Blessing outfit. We had waited so long that it was a little snug on him but he looked way cute. Thanks to everyone who came and everyone who wasn't able that sent their love. Family and Friends mean a lot to us and we love you all and hope you had as much fun as we did. We love you.

Our Little Bryson Is getting Blessed ;)

Our Beautiful Little Boy, Bryson is going to be Blessed this Sunday, September 27th at the Centerville Church that the Burrahm Family attends. I am not sure what time, you can keep checking here or call Scott or the Burrahm Family. Just to let you know. Everyone who wants to come is welcome. Just letting you all know. As Scott just told me the Blessing will be at 6:00 P.M. at the Centerville Church on the Main Road that goes through Centerville. Love you all and hope to see you there.

How STINKIN cute right?!?

How Stinkin Cute is this?!? I wasn't going to do this but he is just so cute.....Well here is your little sneak peek in case we don't see anyone on Halloween. Bryson is going to be a skunk for Halloween. We figured it was totally him, he is a little stinker sometimes, and he is just like his Daddy and full of GAS!!!! So there is nothing better for him right?!? Plus I just love the hair and tail on this and his cute feet.....OOOHHH we are gonna get some pictures done in this outfit. I LOVE IT....so how goes everyone else's search for Halloween costumes?!? Am I the only one excited for this year or what?!? I can't wait for his pictures and trick or treating.......LOVE IT......LOVE IT........LOVE IT.... tell me what you all think is this Bryson or what?

We Had so much fun at the ZOO!!!

AAAWWWW ....Isn't the new baby giraffe cute?!? Yeah we thought so too.....Bryson wasn't into the zoo that much, but with all the new zoo babies we thought that we would go on such a lovely day....it was Monday the 17th but it was tons of fun and the animals were almost all asleep but we had alot of fun and the zoo added a new carousel we didn't ride it but what fun! It was a nice day and a fun way to pass the time Bryson was more interested in the fake trees and environment rather then the animals but he enjoyed the walk and we had fun!!!

Wheeler Farm

We went to visit Wheeler Farm on Saturday, August 15th and It was so fun we decided to post a blog about it!!!! We went and feed the ducks and seen all the fun farm yard animals. They have horses, turkeys, cows, rabbits, goats, sheep and even RATS...but it is a farm, what do you expect? They have fun Hay Rides and little shops for duck food and treats. If you have never been it is a good place to unwind with a picnic or just a nice walk to see the animals. We had a great time and we think this will be a great place for Halloween Pictures.

Julie & Julia Movie

My Sister & I got to go to a free pre-screening of this movie....I was on the fence with this one. I wasn't sure if it was something that I would be interested in seeing at all! But I went and seen it tonight and I was so pleasantly surprised. I liked it, it was such a cute movie and yeah it is a little on the chick flick side, but I laughed and could totally relate to the great characters that were in this movie. It is really very cute and fun. A great mommy, daughter movie and even a sister or girlfriend movie. If you get the chance it is a cute show....

Great Idea Daddy

You got to just love creative Daddy's!!!!
Bryson has been grabbing his socks and pulling them off his feet and his poor little feet end up ice cold. So Daddy got this wonderful crazy idea, while rummaging through Mommy's craft stuff, Daddy came across these really cute Easter bunny candy sacks.....so being very creative and bored, Daddy ripped the bunny heads off Mommy's candy sacks. Traumatizing I know!!
So as to entertain Bryson Daddy took those bunny heads and sewed them on a pair of Bryson's socks. So now Bryson loves to kick his feet and giggle as the bunny heads bounce up and down, he cheers in delight as the pulls on the bunny's ears and it somehow keeps his socks on and his feet warm. As Daddy's smiles in delight at his amazing accomplishment. Mommy can't help but see all the rattle socks left untouched in Bryson's sock drawer and the dead Easter bunny candy sacks.....Good job Daddy.....You've killed Thumper!!! All to make Bryson smile......Oh the sacrifices we make for our kids....this is one of many for Mom.........I love BOYS!!!

Bryson has defiantly got a talent for grabbing things....Look what he got here.....Bryson loves to play with his Daddy and lately he loves to grab his nose and not and I mean NOT let go.....so here is a fun picture of Bryson grabbing Daddy's nose while they were playing and Bryson is not letting go.....See his sinister laugh....well I guess you can't see a laugh but boy, you should have heard it!!

Bryson is 6 months today!!! I can't BeLiEvE it

Happy Day...Today our little Bryson is 6 months old. He is starting to enjoy tummy time a little more but is still not that fond of it. He just seems to be growing like a weed and he just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Daddy and Bryson love to play and laugh...and me I just feel sad he is already like 5 times bigger then he was when I brought him home. My baby is still small but he seems so big....Funny how that goes...He is starting to babble A LOT, just like mom. And otherwise everything else is just like Dad..I think we are going to be getting some family pictures done soon, so hopefully we can get some to all our family. I am still searching for a job, thanks to all of you sending e-mails and good suggestions they help out alot! But still no news. Scott is still loving his job and we are all doing good......by the way we are still available for play dates.....

Summer Time Is Here

Here Comes Summer!!
I am so excited for the warm weather, but I have to admit I love the thunderstorms we've been having. I am strange like that I love the rain and the Thunder, unless I am stuck outside in it.... Well I heard someone say that you can't put sunscreen on a baby. Does anyone know if this is true? Bryson is usually not out in the sun, but I would like to know for sure. Anyone I hope everyone is enjoying some of the warmer weather and hopefully we will have more of the fun weather and BBQ's and pool parties. Yahoo!!! Summer can begin and we are so excited.

Happy Daddy Day

Happy Father's Day!
We just wanted to say Happy Daddy day to our father's and all the new daddy's we know. I also wanted to thank my most wonderful husband Scott. He is such an amazing new daddy. He takes such good care of Bryson and myself. I don't know how I would get through the day without his love and support. He watches over Bryson and makes sure that he never needs anything. He will take the time to sit and play and have fun with us and that means so much to me and for Bryson.
He sometimes worries about being a good daddy, but we know he's the best. So Thank You to all the daddy's who work so hard. And Thank You Scotty for being the GREATEST DADDY we could ever ask for........

He is one Happy BABY.....

Here is our little Bryson. He is one happy baby. We haven't been up to much. I am looking for a new job and I have started to sell Scentsy so if anyone needs anything let me know. Bryson is growing like a weed and is so much FUN. We hope to see our family more to see all the other babies getting as big as Bryson and we are way excited to start having Play dates. There isn't nothing to new to report. Soon we are hoping to have Bryson blessed, and spend time watching fireworks. I am sure he isn't big enough to really enjoy them but I am!!
I hope all our family is doing well, and we are pretty open for play dates...movie nights....any thing call us you know the number......

Help!?! I've got a thumb sucker....

Anyone have any advice for us? Our little Bryson has discovered the joys of thumb sucking. We tried Vinegar on the thumbs and he makes funny faces for a little while but keeps at it, until it tastes OK....anyone know how to break this habit?

Time is Flying.....No matter what!!!

I don't think I ever truly understood that phrase before. But it seems like the older I get the faster time goes by me. I can look back and remember my first job out of school and it really doesn't seem that long ago...but I realized that it has been a long time ago....I almost feel ancient. I worked at a hotel that still had paperwork and actual keys to get in to the rooms. CRAZY!!!

I am sorry I haven't been keeping up much. I can't believe how fast the time goes now. So any way here is the update. Bryson turned 4 months on the 20Th. He went in and had his doctor visit and he weighed in at
14 pounds 2 ounces and 25 inches long.....he is getting so BIG. He is now starting out on cereal. He isn't sure quite what to think of it. But he eats it anyway. Bryson is a talker he just babbles and babbles on. He is giggling and if your lucky he will laugh and just keeping laughing for you, depending on his mood.

Scott is doing good. he works on his guns and keeps the yard up, and even spent some time out shooting his new gun with his brother Michael by Utah lake. I am okay, I am still looking for a new job, my job offer was resend ed, so I am appealing but don't know if I will be able to keep it. We are waiting to find out.

A BoY & HiS bUnNy !!!!!

Just wanted to say "Happy Easter" from a boy and his bunny.....I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. Scott & I made a nice dinner and we were so excited because we got to eat it hot.....My mom came over to visit Bryson. Since babies don't eat much candy, Bryson got some bookends for his children's books, a cute little bunny that's in the picture with him, and some diapers, formula, bottle cleaners and other small various baby items. He got two movies we are hoping he will like later...bedtime stories and the tale of some mouse. So we had to stay home because Bryson is sick, so no pictures in his dress up outfit we got him, just chicks on his PJ's. HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE. We hope to see you soon!

If My toys could talk....

The helicopter says "WOW! this baby is cute! then the baseball says "Yeah, he has great hair"

So I am not sure if it is just a coincidence or if it is a match made in heaven....But Bryson woke up from his nap with this beautiful hair......Gorgeous right?!? It was like looking at a mix of Scott, Me & Albert Einstein....I only say me because he has a little of my hair color at this time, but it is darkening more and more it seems, then there are days when it looks really really light like mine...But with hair like this he has to be smart.....I just know it!!!

Have You Ever Seen This Face?!?

If there is anyone who has ever angered Scott or even mildy annoyed him......You HAVE seen this face! Well with Bryson he was not happy he didn't have his bottle right away. People may think he don't like the hat, this is 120% not true. He loves his fishing hat he is just like Scott, But he wanted his bottle and mom was being a little slow......so I got this look from him. I think he was even more unhappy with me stopping to take the picture. I told Scott "When your son is mad at me he gives me the same looks you do" Scott didn't believe me........Well here it is my PROOF!!! Tell me you haven't seen this expression on Scott's face.....and I will tell you, you have never annoyed him in any way!!!!

Here is what is new with our little guy.

Bryson is on his way to the 2 1/2 month mark. At his 2 month old appointment he weighed in at 11 pounds 4 ounces and he is a healthy boy. He is starting to smile and it is almost a laugh but it is more like excited breathing. He is now 22 & 1/4 inches. He is so much FUN!!!

I know that some of my new mom friends are having difficulties with their new babies, and thank goodness our baby is mellow and calm and is very easily soothed. He is a blessing for us. It seems so easy compared to other moms we've talked to, maybe because of the difficult pregnancy, I get an easy newborn baby experience, but I am not looking forward to the teething thing at all..........Fun Times to come.......stay tuned......Tell me how much can you see of me in Bryson....Nothing right?!? He is so much like this daddy he even looks like his daddy when he is not happy with me I will post that picture soon.

We Have Started A Blog !

I have heard a lot of our friends and family talk about "Blogging" and so Scott & I decided that we would set up a blog and add our information and updates on here. For anyone who didn't know Scott & I welcomed Bryson to our family on January 20th, 2009. He weighed in at
6 pounds 7 ounces. He is growing more and more everyday and we love him lots and lots.
I will soon be returning to work and I can't even think about being seperated from him for that long. Other then that we have no really exciting news other then, WE STARTED OUR BLOG!
